About Jack

Ive drawn and painted since I was a little boy.  My dad was a Baptist preacher, and a rancher.  My love of art, and growing up around horses and cattle, brought these two passions together naturally.

My dreams and thoughts as a young boy going to watch the “Silver Screen Cowboys’ on Saturday afternoons conjured up visions of the wild frontier. Painting it involves the landscape, costumed figures and the animals that form integral parts of a successful portrayal of the west, its early history and the contemporary life of the present westerner.
